50 mins with the silver can seems on par with my own estimations. Very far from the 7 mins at best when I was young... No questions on why we tend to think tires are depleting fast nowadays
I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

40 mins of run and fun on the beach this morning... And there was room for more in the batteries (not even at storage mode at the end of the run (4000mAh)). Hornet is as good as the Lunchbox for this, but more cleaning required at the end of the run...

Catchup on the past week.

Got my daughter her first model, and Airfix Quickbuild VW Combi.  Which is basically their version of "lego".  Couple of mini-figs quickly found their new ride!

Also got the Super Hornet back together and wired up.  Started work on the body, mostly cabin roof and rear wing.  Need to hit again with wet-n-dry as still some sanding marks.  Haven't decided how much I'll do, as don't want to lose the current decals.

Another day, another run on the beach...

The mistery machine seems to be the preferred one among surfers... And they very much like the Lunchboxs :-)

Really? Why? Being modern made up, non-infringing versions of sponsor logos, and a vey incomplete set at that, don't they typify the phrase "nothing special"?

Not trying to start something, I'm just curious :)

If you want genuine sponsor decals I'd look at the SRB "B" sheet (mciracing.ca/pr...t-b-decals), though I think for the black bodywork a full John Player Special livery (mciracing.ca/pr...ial-decals) would suit better ;)

Even with the enormous drag factor of Scrappy Doo, who isn't a Scooby Doo fan? :) ;)
