Today I did not lack of motivation at all...
Started my morning with some fine tuning with Silk Silver PLA+ and started to print some Samurai wheels... Unfortunately, I had a problem of interface between the chair and the keyboard while I was working on the slicer, and when the print was reaching 20% I noticed it would not be good. I stopped the print, resliced the work and restart a new print which is currently at 34% (it will last quite a time as it is expected to last about 14 hours in total). The finish of this filament looks already good. While the printer was working, I decided to move on the Nichimo Spirit FF and started to model the chassis... This thing is going to get me busy for quite a time... I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them

Excellent work, I like the Super Grippers

I guess you are inclined to prefer Tamiya's ones .
I seriously have an issue with both solutions: - Schum/Kyosho should be very good to run, but in terms of look, the tyres are too round and not square enough, which is not really suitable for a proper vintage look - Tam's oval blocks are having a very nice vintage look, but they are missing the true massive look of the rear Samurai train. But overall, I think I prefer the oval blocks. If anyone can give me pointers to other possible solutions, I would be definitely interested (rims diameter are 50 mm on the front and 46 mm on the rear).... I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them

The problem is not the slicer. That was the design
There is some variances in the Marui Samurai axles. Last week, I had only one wheel and I tested one side. and found out that I had to drill the wheel axle hole a bit to get it thru.I increased the size of the hole in my Friday's print to 4.2 instead of 4.1.but I had also something I did not took care last week which I found more obvious now : the arc of the side of the wheel was not right. further, I could not put the nut up to the lock. I had to modify that. It's now good... And for the file, I'm going to extract the stl from the fusion file (and I have already a few copies of the fusion file - I'm working in IT, I may be a bit overcaustious on this aspect). It's finally on thingiverse, and you may even use them with hex driver, just in case you want nice wheels on something else than a Marui Samurai
