I’ve been listening to a band called the The Sound a lot recently.
From London and released stuff through the 80’s.
The critics apparently loved them, but not the general public apart from the Dutch.
The first 2 albums Jepordy and From the Lions Mouth are well worth a listen.
The singer Adrian Borland was a bit of a genius in my opinion, but suffered from mental health issues.

Sup people. I recently discovered there's a whole genre of music using '80s aesthetics to make new tunes. Retrowave, some of it is pretty good. Here's the theme to every Miami Vice episode that was never made.



I prefer the synthwave tracks myself but it's quite amazing how a band like The Midnight manages to capture the '80s atmosphere as well. BTTF tribute.
