Okay, putting a reinforced F104 side on the gearcase didn't work out...
I knew they had a different offset in ride height. Turns out this is 3mm and I only have adjusters up to 2mm. Axle height can only be adjusted on one side - it is not possible on the vintage hopped up motor mount. Not even sure there are any ride height adapters with such an offset that fit the car... So that was another bit of useless disassembly. Not a big deal, I originally got the carbon for my ultimate F103 gearcase (back and front) : Now I'll use the sides for my ultralight Group C (unless I find the specific adjuster)... |
