Not much more left to possibly upgrade on this one - a few small new details though...
A GPM gunmetal servo stay and one piece from the F104 reinforced gearbox will be fitted on it :

A reminder of where it was at :

Okay, putting a reinforced F104 side on the gearcase didn't work out...
I knew they had a different offset in ride height. Turns out this is 3mm and I only have adjusters up to 2mm.
Axle height can only be adjusted on one side - it is not possible on the vintage hopped up motor mount.
Not even sure there are any ride height adapters with such an offset that fit the car...

So that was another bit of useless disassembly.
Not a big deal, I originally got the carbon for my ultimate F103 gearcase (back and front) :

Now I'll use the sides for my ultralight Group C (unless I find the specific adjuster)...

Wow, very not fast at all with that Sport Tuned.
Cool to see that shell moving though. I'll upload a video later. :)

If you recognise the song, the title should be obvious (just no hex heads anymore). :silly:

:)

Lack of speed is most definitely due to this particular Sport Tuned...
No resistance at all when you turn the shaft. Will be nice for display, nothing more.
Next run will be with be a serious 23T motor.
