Very lightweight packet  :pinch:

Yeah indeed... The addiction continues.
First i just wanted to lower the toe and now i want to get the knuckles for the front because they're so light and shiny. After all, the topforce will have more hophups than my nearly complete hopped up ta05

Yeah, but not if it is not functional. The arms are better of plastic for example.

sure! They are harder and give more efficiency. I look it on 1/5th on road cars

I like the way your thinking there. :y:
Some hop ups just for fun is cool but not if they compromise functionality... :silly:

1:5 cars have also gears of steel. We have a track here: www.mrc-oberhausen.de/
I'm watching them while my wife is shopping at the supermarket next to it
They're harder equiped 'cause they have more power. About 3 PS (don't know kw or nM). Also they can shift gears.

The small car's don't use this hard material 'cause they don't have the nM. Also they don't have huge cables to lower the heating of them. Etc... You have to make compromises.

Later i'll load up a video of a 1:5 on the track.

One thing i also mostly forget is that the manta ray is a buggy.
Plastic is better as metal in offroad. Have a look at this TRF www.racingfacto...Kit-108879

There are only some small alloy parts. The TRF is nearly the same as the ta05 and the trf of the ta05 has much more alloy parts because there is normally no dirt at an onroad track. The belts are open and the nuckles are also alloy.
I'm watching time by time at a 1:10 electro offroad track where also pros are driving with really nice buggys. They're using nearly no alloy and also have stabilizers installed, which are also avaible for the ta01.
Only parts at the motor, suspension and dampers are alloy parts. That was also the reason why i don't want to use the alloy knuckles at the front,.

:) I looked some FG replica or competition line. They are beautifull. On my marder I only put alloy transmission supports. Arms are damned on it.

Alloy knuckles are pretty functional though, since it's a bit of a weak spot on the DF-01. ;)
