I’ve begun to tear down the Super Champ I got the other week.
I’ve hit a couple of problems and need some advice. I’m trying to take the servo saver apart, but I can’t work out what’s holding it together. I’ve looked through the manual and it doesn’t look like any of these parts are held together by anything, it looks like everything just slots together. I’ve given it liberal amounts of WD40. I don’t want to try and force anything and break a part. Any advice would be most appreciated. Attachments: |

I would use a metal brush to clean the bolt to get rid of the ridge of rust, which seems to block. Or give it a few hours in a wd40 bath.
Good luck

Looks similar to the front hubs on the Grasshopper, Lunchbox, etc, where the metal axle is just press fit into the carrier.
Once it's all clean, warming the plastic can help loosen it. But try not to heat up the metal.
