Thanks!  Of course the Saint Dragon should really be on the Madcap chassis, but this photo represents all the re-releases.  To complete the Dragon series, I still need a Super (Storm) Dragon.  Maybe I will just get the body kit and put it on my Grasshopper as it was originally intended so I can take a full family photo.

Managed to get a bit of a roll on with painting lately.
First time I've used Clear Smoke, and I swear the colour gets darker as it curers.  Chev came out a bit darker than planned, but it's ok.  I aimed for a bit of a 3d effect by going darker on the curves and along the top of the side windows.
The Austin (M05) is nearly complete, just some detailing around windows and front grill, then full clear coat.
Chev will get its top coat, then window edging.

Today I have test driven my Lunchbox and it's now fixed and working good 
Fault were dead receiver and esc that hit thermal shutdown. Now back to XL-5 esc and crystal radio gear.

Also have been tidying up my mancave.

Yeahhhhh nice Richard.

Bit of work on My Thunder Shot tonight, The good news is the alloy A5 part accepts the standard Tamiya shaft and is threaded to suit

 

Trimmed the Body, Wing and driver. I still need to sand the edges and pick up some pearl white, Fitted a Sports tuned and soldered the wires up instead of out I thought I had 2 pairs of tyres for this but only 1 so instead I put some Egress wheels on which look better IMO

 



 

Stripped the gearbox apart and found original bushes 😮 replaced all 8 and the rear hubs with new bearings. Installed some new electrics and this thing is fast and fun Only thing left is to repaint the helmet Black, The blue isn't working for me 😄
