I dunno, I saw a video where someone had converted a big pink one into a helicopter, & was using it to harass a speaker at a press conference - V funny!

there are loads on there where they bolt/tape a mobile phone or small camera on the cars, but as Jonny found out, can be disatrous :cry:

i made a mount for my phone out of meccano, no troubles with it yet, and i even went full speed over a rounded gutter while filming :woohoo:



the phone mount is bolted to the roll cage

I fitted a micro camera mount on my Pajero, its has video resolution of 720*480 vga. Don't expect to much from it,but it will be fun i think.


and with cam




Now let's hope the weather will be brighter soon so i can shoot
some footage outside ;)

yeah i looked at those cams but the one i am opting for is a HD cam and has longer battery life.
i dont think a cam bolted to the front of my car would last very long haha. with my driving skills i would trash it in no time. i am going for a rear mounted cam on a makeshift roll cage/ cam mount. pics up soon

That;s the same camera I got. A mini DV camera. And I think you will find the footage very bumpy. I mounted mine on my Bull head roof, I you can almost not make out some of the footage.
