Found this pic ... I suspect the battery plate is meant to be thin aluminiun sheet :whistle:

Also started on building the "best" chassis - nothing special to note, but once again I'm glad to have a set of taps & dies :)

HI!... J/R you need to build yourself a pin router. It's perfect for stuff like that. I'm going to build one later this year. After I get my lathe and milling machine. lol

TBH I did think about power tools (specifically a sabre saw), but went with hand tools for less dust :)

HI!... Are the small tubes old RC10 nose tubes? If not they look exactly like them. Even have the through hole in the same spot.
