Given my limited facilities, I was thinking more along the lines of total replacement - 3mm black styrene sheet with a single fold in it ... a few minutes with a sheet of card later:




... didn't like that much (too curvy for the 'Hopper) ...






A little better, it would have to be satin black unless I painted it ...

Did you get new shocks yet - or other upgrades?

ok, back on track(pardon the pun).....new spacers to stiffen up the front shocks a bit and a new home made stone guard for the front bumper. note the side front wheel parts of the bumper are not secured so allowing for some flex when front impact inevitably happens.

i think my viper 20 mitroniks ESC has gone loopy. when all switched on i have full forward control and no reverse. when i switch it off it goes into flat out forward. the only way i can stop it is to unplug the battery. spoke to mitronics they said to send it back.

That sucks big time. Hope they'll send it back soon... or give you a new one.
Sounds very strange that it gives full power when it is switched off.
Luckily the car is upgraded so much by now that it's even fun when it can't be driven for a while.

yeah it sucks but i can still carry on and design and build my LED headlights
oh by the way its a sport tuned 20 ESC not a viper as i said. the viper is on my boat, i got mixed up!
