Go with it ... the two Chenowths in Tommorrow, When The War Began* were matt black (including the wheels), add a few extra spotlights & netting on the back... *I've never been really clear on just who was invading there ... definitely oriental mainland, but their kit included experimental US Special Forces buggies? At least with it's "twin" movie (the name of which escapes me at them moment, but I seem to recall it having a Hemsworth in it) the antagonists were more explicity identified. Come to think on it, it's near-triplet "How I live now"** failed to identify just who nuked London, and just how negotiation might have avoided it... ** Yes I know you can read the plot on IMDB or Wikipedia, but if it's not in the film & someone has to explain it afterward, does it really count? Also, crossreference under "films that told the wrong story" ... but that'll be three levels of nested parenthesis - even I've recognise going off topping when I go that deep |

Update, so I’ve put a steering servo in.
And also found some track rods. I’ll have to double check these because it’s not quite right. At the minute I’m just happy to not have the wheels flapping around. Also fitted a motor after a search through some random fasteners I found 2 screws that were exactly right to hold the motor in place, a bit of soldering to do, but I’ve got wire etc so will probably tidy up several motors at the same time. Fitted the pinion cover, this will eventually get sprayed the right colour. And finally attached the rear arm holders. Gave them a bit of a polish first. Cheers.

I think that summarises Tamiya's suspension/steering geometry design philosophy
