carbon fibre battery cover anyone?

got the fan working on the ESC. it fits perfect on top, just the right size. the only way i can get it to work by using the ESC on/off switch is by connecting the + wire of the fan to the + wire on the motor and the - wire to the - wire on the - wire on the RX that supplies the front Led's.
does that sound right or am in in for some flames and a few smouldering cables?

Got a picture maybe? The motor wire doesn't really sound like the best choice...

i could get a pic but i dont think it would help. i got the + and - from the battery and the + and - to the motor from the ESC. the - wire to the fan comes from the - connection to the LED's on the headlights that come from the RX. the only way i can get the fan to spin up is if i connect it to the + connector on the motor. no other + connector will allow it to switch on with the ESC on/off switch

Not so much my cup of tea tbh...

ok im guessing people are getting fed up with this thread. i will leave it alone and if i make any further improvements or mods i will start another thread

I'd like to see it when you've got new stuff to show on your cars...
