may i suggest you invest in part number d-8 from the rising fighter ,

teh rising fighter is same chassie as super hornet /grasshopper 11 etc

but the rising fighter has a great little upgrade namely part d-8 ,
its a reinforcement that clicks over the shock mounts and fits straight to the grasshopper 1 :)

Thanks, that should be a very good upgrade. :cheer:
The integrated shock mounts are typically a weakness on this kind of chassis.

That guard looks very cool. Some subtle but very nice mods again - also like the new black stripe on the roof! B)
Btw - the room you made for the rear dampers look very tidy too.

Good looking and functional that stripe! :pinch:
That black detail just gave me some inspiration for the build topic I'm posting next... :cheer:

what are these axle springs, will they fit my grasshopper and will they make any difference? cheap enough if its a worthwhile mod...

These would be a necessary addition to the Hornet chassis mounts (rear axle stays) that are coming your way...

So I'd definitely get some - together they will be a good upgrade from the fixed Grasshopper axle.

Might have some of the chassis mounts for you somewhere. Don't think I have the matching springs though...

I might follow your example for my own Grashopper build...
